Anca Daniela Frumuselu

Anca Daniela Frumuselu, Ph.D is an English lecturer at Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at Universitat de Lleida, Spain. She holds a Bachelor Degree in English and Romanian Language and Literature from University of West, Timisoara, Romania (2008); a Master Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Rovira I Virgili University, Tarragona, Spain (2010); an International Double Doctorate in English Language, Literature and Culture from Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona, Spain and in Educational Sciences from University of Antwerp, Antwerp, Belgium (2015); and a post-doctorate in gamification and m-learning from Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona, Spain (2019). Her research interests include the study of English foreign language skills through audiovisual translation and subtitling, the use of new technologies in the EFL classroom, e-learning, m-learning, gamification and virtual exchange. She is currently applying virtual exchange methods at university level and investigating learners’ intercultural and global competence. She has participated in European and I+D+I Spanish project-funded projects related to her field of research. She has published several articles and book chapters in high impact journals and in books related to her field of research. She has attended several international conferences, workshops and teaching training courses in the last years.
