Su investigaci\u00f3n se ha centrado alrededor del discurso acad\u00e9mico hablado, los g\u00e9neros acad\u00e9micos, el metadiscurso y el ingl\u00e9s como lengua vehicular de instrucci\u00f3n en el contexto de la internacionalizaci\u00f3n de la educaci\u00f3n superior, en concreto el nexo entre el Ingl\u00e9s para Fines Espec\u00edficos y el Ingl\u00e9s como lengua vehicular. Es co-autora de un libro de texto sobre comunicaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica escrita\u00a0 dirigido a estudiantes de ingenier\u00eda (Edicions UPC, 2008), autora de un libro sobre el metadiscurso en las clases universitarias(Peter Lang, 2008) y autora de varios cap\u00edtulos de libro (entre los cuales figura Routledge Handbook for English for Academic Purposes, 2016). Recientemente ha publicado diversos art\u00edculos de revista sobre el ingl\u00e9s como llengua vehicular en la instrucci\u00f3n universitaria.
